Angered with men, he threw lightning on the Earth. At the exact point where the lightning hit the ground, hot water began to flow.<\/p>\n<p>Etruscans and Romans frequented this place for its <strong>therapeutic properties<\/strong>. Besides giving an immediate sensation of relaxation to body and mind, the thermal water of Saturnia has an effect on <strong>dermatological<\/strong>, <strong>respiratory<\/strong> and <strong>cardio-circulatory pathologies<\/strong>. It is useful in fighting and relieving the symptoms of the most common diseases such as: dermatitis, sinusitis, muscle pain and arthritis.<\/p>\n<p>The heat of the water remains stable all year around <strong>37 \u00b0 C<\/strong>. So you can immerse yourself in every season. The most ideal are spring and autumn, when the mild temperatures allow you to get in and out of the water without too much suffering from the thermal shock.<\/p>\n<p>The thermal baths of Saturnia are a magical place, absolutely not to be missed. It is impossible to give up to admire the &#8220;Cascate del Mulino&#8221; up close or to immerse yourself in the warm thermal pools of the local Resort.<\/p>\n<h3>The Cascate del Mulino<\/h3>\n<p>They are located a few kilometers away from the historic village of <strong>Saturnia<\/strong>, surrounded by the countryside.<br \/>\nThese are free and totally <strong>free hot springs<\/strong>. However, there are no services of any kind. Near the waterfall there is only a bar-restaurant with paid showers.<\/p>\n<p>The Cascate del Mulino were created naturally thanks to the strength of the water that over the centuries has dug the rock below to create many small pools. Arranged on several levels, the thermal water pools are shallow and have a backdrop of polished pebbles.<br \/>\nAt the base of the waterfall, along the river, is instead of the<strong> excellent thermal mud<\/strong> that can be spread on arms and legs.<\/p>\n<p>The entire complex of the Cascate del Mulino di Saturnia is a <strong>postcard-like<\/strong>, exciting and unique landscape.
