In Orbetello<\/b>, every year since 13 years, in the period around 1 November there is one of the most eagerly awaited food and wine events <\/b>of the year.<\/p>\n
Born from the producers and the local entrepreneurs of the consortium Welcome Maremma<\/b> with the Municipality of Orbetello<\/b>, Gustatus<\/b> hosts every year producers, artists and visitors from all over Italy.<\/p>\n
Founded in 2006<\/b>, Gustaus offers five days <\/b>to discover the cultural<\/b>, tourist<\/b> and gastronomic<\/b> traditions<\/b> of the Maremma; from the first edition it started to grow every year more and now it is a real party inside Orbetello.<\/p>\nGustatus 2018<\/h3>\n
This year from<\/b> October 31st<\/b> to November 4th<\/b> in the streets of the town you will find local producers<\/b> of wine<\/b>, meat<\/b>, oil<\/b>, milk<\/b> and cheese<\/b>, honey<\/b> and jams<\/b>, spices<\/b>, legumes<\/b> and, of course, fish<\/b>.<\/p>\n
But Gustatus<\/b> also offers various cultural proposals<\/b>, in fact you will find art<\/b> and photography<\/b> exhibitions<\/b>, historical<\/b> re-enactments<\/b> and shows<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Another fundamental part of the event is dedicated to educational workshops<\/b> and guided tastings<\/b>, organized by professional sommeliers<\/b> who will accompany you to discover the wine making traditions<\/b> of the area.<\/p>\n
Not by chance, the symbol of the event is the Gustatus wine glass,<\/b> available on the stands of “Welcome Maremma”, of the “Pavilion of Wines” and in the shops that show the “vendita bicchieri” sticker.<\/p>\n
With \u20ac 5 you will have the glass, a brochure on the activities that will take place during the event and 6 tasting stickers<\/b>, for those who have already the glass they can also buy only 6 stamps at a reduced price.<\/p>\n
The village will be overwhelmed by aromas and flavors<\/b> typical of the Maremma and you can taste local products or dine in the Gustatus’s Restauran<\/b>t, where every night the best chefs in the area will alternate and propose different menus or in many restaurants, affiliated<\/b> with the event, present throughout the town of Orbetello.<\/p>\n
Over the years the event has been increasingly enriched by bringing tens of thousands <\/b>of people to visit it. Since 2010, year after year, the stands of the Arte Cioccolatiera<\/b>, Filiera Corta<\/b> and Emergency<\/b> have been permanently added.<\/p>\n
In recent years, Gustatus also opened itself <\/b>to other regions with a street dedicated to the discovery of an italian region every year different.<\/b><\/p>\n
