White beaches of Castiglioncello<\/h2>\n

This wonderful place is located in the province of Livorno, a town which remained unknown until modern times and is located in a very privileged place for its view.<\/p>\n

Castiglioncello became famous in the sixties, as a holiday destination for well-known personalities, and often used as a set for Italian and non-Italian films.<\/p>\n

In the past the Etruscans left great traces of their passage<\/p>\n

Remains of necropolises have been found in\u00a0Castiglioncello, in\u00a0Rosignano Solvay, in\u00a0Vada\u00a0and in\u00a0Castelnuovo della Misericordia; all collected in the Palazzo Bombardieri museum.<\/p>\n

Churches such as that of Sant’Andrea or the church of the Immaculate Conception are places not to be missed when visiting Castiglioncello;<\/p>\n

This country is truly full of culture, with beautiful places full of history such as:
\nCastello Pasquini or Villa Celestina are points of interest for thousands of tourists.<\/p>\n

But Castiglioncello is not only culture, the center offers the\u00a0possibility to practice various sports<\/strong>, starting from seafaring, up to tennis and trekking.<\/p>\n

The beaches of Castiglioncello<\/h2>\n

The beaches of Castiglioncello are made up of numerous very exclusive coves.<\/p>\n

Some are sandy, such as Baia del Quercetano or Caletta di Castiglioncello<\/strong>, but most of the coast is made up of rocks, with establishments offering many services.<\/p>\n

The sea of these beaches is really very clean and the rocky coast between Chioma, the richness of the seabed is known.<\/p>\n

In fact, many\u00a0 lovers of\u00a0snorkeling<\/strong>,\u00a0diving<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0fishermen<\/strong> meet on this coast, together with the\u00a0lovers of sailing and windsurfing, <\/strong> to carry out their activities in this beauty.<\/p>\n

Then the famous white beaches of Castiglioncello, in Rosignano Solvay, where the white beach highlights even more the beauty of the colors of the sea.<\/p>\n

However, the whiteness of these beaches was not a natural phenomenon, in fact caused by the bicarbonate of the nearby factory, built in the 90s.<\/p>\n

These beaches are open to bathing, and are also accessible to our four-legged friends!<\/p>\n
