font-size: 18pt;\">Lake Bolsena <\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Located in Maremma Laziale, it is the <strong>largest volcanic lake in Europe<\/strong>, with a surface area of 114 sq km .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Born thousands of years ago, mainly fed by rainwater, it also has numerous tributaries and a single one, the Marta river.<\/span ><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Up until the 1950s it was also known as <em>&#8216;the drinking lake&#8217;<\/em> since its waters were defined as drinkable;
